Taylor Uniting Bowden Brae - Site Visit
BEA held their FIRST EVER exclusive site tour event with Taylor at Uniting Bowden Brae in Normanhurst. Students were guided by Taylor’s Senior Site Manager Glenn Harris and Project Manager Adam Delpopolo who guided the students through the site, explained to them different issues and constraints they’ve had to experience, different construction methodologies and answered any other questions students had. Taylor was extremely impressed with the calibre of students who attended with a super switched on and keen to learn energy – that’s what BEA represents. We also received extremely positive feedback from a few attendees who found the event extremely valuable.
This is why we created BEA, to bring opportunities and meaningful experiences to our BEA Community. I want to whole heartedly thank the Taylor team for guiding us through this amazing project and we can’t wait to bring you the next event – trust me, it’s an even more incredible opportunity.

What was your favourite part of the tour?
“Seeing how inconvenient architecture designs can be and listen to the site manager question it. (Was a good laugh- Mirrors being installed so high we can’t see ourselves, cabinet installed over the toilet) but overall, I loved listening to them feed the group the knowledge they have, especially during the brief before the tour.”
“Professional advice on the importance of planning in construction”
“Brief introduction to the site and site tour to the roof top.”
