Semester 1 O’Day 2021

On Tuesday 16th February 2021, BEA had their first ever O’Day. Our stall concept was very clear. We wanted to ensure there was no single use plastic and that any decorations were upcycled from existing materials (our BEA letters from cardboard package).

It was interesting to experience an O’Day during a world-wide pandemic, but with safety measures, we were able to execute a safe and fun day. Each new member received their Welcome Pack and it was so rewarding to see their priceless reactions when they opened it.

The best part of it was that we had students who weren’t even studying degrees within the Building, Architecture and Design faculty, become members of our BEA community. It goes to show how our events can develop our members across any discipline.
