A message from our Co-Founders

The Built Environment Association (BEA) was created for students, by students. Drawing from our previous university experiences, we understood the value that a society could bring to its fellow members both in their professional development and social life. Embarking on our Construction Project Management degrees in 2020 we noticed that there weren’t any societies that could connect us with our cohort, let alone industry. This paved the way for BEA’s formation for students and professionals alike in the built environment industry to connect, share ideas and experiences.

Our vision is to create a community of passionate, motivated, and driven individuals who seek to positively impact and innovate our Built Environment. From using sustainable and recycled paper on BEA merchandise to repurposing materials for events, we see it as our fiduciary duty as future leaders of industry to be conscious and sustainable in everything we do. It is also our ambition to foster effective partnerships with industry leaders to shape the opportunities and prospects of the members of our Built Environment.

We’ve got many events planned both professionally and socially for our BEA community this year. We can’t wait for you all to experience it.
